My work to date has consisted mainly of video performance. I have been
using my body to deal with issues of unnatural human behaviour in
seemingly natural environments. I have attempted to turn private
actions to the public view and reverse feeling of displacement onto the
viewer through the way I project image and sound. My work often takes
the form of being visually poetic, with associations of spirituality
and desire for Otherness. I often use this thematic to enhance the
sense of psychological space that I wish to create. I think it is
important that my work be experienced, physically first, with meanings,
connotations and associations to come after.
